Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust Mobile App & Web Platform
Effective Date: 16 September 2026 | Last Updated: 27 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website (https://ssjtrust.com) and the Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust Android mobile application ("App"), operated by Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust ("Trust", "We", "Us", or "Our"), a registered public charitable trust established under its registered Trust Deed dated June 2026 (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh) — Trust Registration No: 67/2026 (Sub-Registrar, Lucknow) | NITI Aayog NGO DARPAN ID: UP/2026/1125799 | PAN: ABOTS8629L | e-Stamp: IN-UP14291442149480Y.
By downloading, registering, accessing, browsing, or donating through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
Free Membership: Membership in Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust is completely free of charge. No payment, registration fee, or mandatory recurring contribution is required to become a member.
No Guaranteed Monetary Benefit: Membership status does NOT guarantee employment, monetary benefits, loans, priority treatment, or guaranteed financial assistance. Membership allows community members to participate in volunteer drives, receive trust bulletins, and submit charitable assistance requests for review.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and mobile verification codes. Any activity initiated from your verified phone number will be deemed to have been authorized by you.
Account Deletion & Permanent Registration Restriction: Users may voluntarily request the permanent deletion of their account and associated profile data at any time through the in-app deletion settings or via our dedicated web portal at delete-account. Upon deletion, personal profile details (name, photo, address, password) are immediately anonymized and purged. To prevent community misuse, fraudulent cycling of new member accounts, or evasion of trust policies, the verified mobile number and email address associated with a deleted account are permanently placed on a registration restriction list using irreversible salted cryptographic hashes (SHA-256). Re-registration or opening a new account using the same mobile number or email address is strictly prohibited.
Registered members in genuine distress (medical emergencies, education, or disaster recovery) may submit an assistance request by providing true, accurate, and complete information, accompanied by doctor prescriptions, hospital estimates, and government ID proofs.
Submission Does Not Equal Approval: Submission of an application does NOT guarantee approval, fundraising publication, or financial disbursement. The Trust reserves the sole discretion to approve, reject, modify, or cancel requests based on independent verification and resource availability.
Direct Hospital Settlement: To prevent misuse, approved medical assistance funds are settled directly to the treating hospital's verified bank account upon submission of genuine medical invoices and doctor certificates.
Approved support requests may be published as public crowdfunding campaigns within the App and website to solicit voluntary donor contributions.
Consent for Media & Narrative: By submitting a request for public fundraising, the applicant (or the parent/legal guardian in the case of a minor) grants the Trust permission and revocable consent to publish the beneficiary's name, photograph, general story, and verified treatment target for charitable fundraising purposes. Consent may be revoked upon written request, subject to campaign closure and statutory accounting retention requirements. Sensitive documents (Aadhaar, full confidential medical records) will always remain strictly confidential.
Fundraising Disclaimer: Displayed campaign targets and progress trackers represent community fundraising goals and do not guarantee that the full target amount will be collected. Actual disbursements are subject to donor participation, verification, payment clearances, and applicable processing deductions.
All online donations are voluntary charitable contributions processed through RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway providers (Razorpay, UPI, Cards, Netbanking).
Zero Beneficiary Commission: The Trust does NOT charge beneficiaries a commission for listing approved medical or emergency assistance causes.
Operational & Payment Charges (12%–16%): For donor transactions, an administrative, platform, or payment-processing charge of up to 12%–16% may be applicable depending on payment method, banking interchange, digital infrastructure, and verification costs. Any applicable charge will be separately displayed to the donor prior to payment confirmation.
Where applicable and where the donation qualifies under the applicable provisions of the Indian Income Tax Act, 1961, eligible donors who furnish their valid Permanent Account Number (PAN) may request an official donation certificate/receipt for claiming a tax deduction under Section 80G.
Eligibility-Based: An 80G certificate is not automatically provided for every transaction; eligibility depends on the nature of the donation, statutory regulations, and filing under Form 10BE. Donors may choose not to request an 80G certificate if they do not require tax deduction benefits.
Applicable administrative/processing charges are separate from the charitable donation and are NOT eligible for Section 80G deduction.
Donations once successfully credited are non-refundable. In cases of proven duplicate or erroneous transactions reported within 7 working days, excess amounts may be reviewed and refunded.
Non-Refundable Processing Charges: Any applicable processing, administrative, or payment-related charge may be non-refundable to the extent that it has already been charged by a third-party payment provider or incurred in processing the transaction, subject to applicable law.
Users agree NOT to:
Penalties & Legal Action: The Trust reserves the right to immediately reject applications, freeze accounts, remove active fundraisers, blacklist offenders, and report deliberate financial fraud to cybercrime cells and law enforcement agencies.
All trademarks, logos, brand names, software code, UI designs, and multimedia content on the App and website are the exclusive intellectual property of Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust. Unauthorized reproduction, commercial exploitation, or scraping is strictly prohibited.
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shri Shyam Jansewa Trust, its trustees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from network interruptions, third-party payment gateway downtime, or medical treatment outcomes.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (India).
